Megasaur Slot for Mega Wins

April 27, 2016 Category :Games Off

Megasaur is the perfect slot for dino-fans looking for a mega win and this progressive jackpot slot is a great option if you fancy a fun slot with a huge jackpot, loads of wilds, a great bonus feature and colorful graphics.

Megasaur is produced by Realtime Gaming (RTG) and is available at a good range of the best US legal online casinos and online slots sites. If you like your real money slots with a HUGE top prizes, you’ll be delighted to know that Megasaur has previously paid out a $1m plus progressive and, more importantly, the current jackpot stands at almost $991,000.

The big question is, should you play it now or wait for it to hit seven figures but risk missing out if someone gets to the dinosaur bounty before you do? Well, what’s $9,000 between friends? If you win $991,000 we doubt you’ll have too many complaints so our advice is to check out this slot right now and see if you can land the big one.

To do that you’ll need to be playing Megasaur for the maximum coin value, which means all 25 lines of this five reel slot at the maximum 20c per line, for a total spin value of five bucks. Note that if you are playing a lower spin value you will still win a portion of the progressive if you land the relevant symbols. In addition, to claim the Megasaur progressive, you actually need to be in the bonus feature and THEN hit all five of the progressive/scatter volcano moon symbols.

In other words, you’ll need to get at least three scatters in a standard game to enter the feature and then get all five whilst in the feature. You didn’t think they were giving a million bucks away to just anyone did you? That might sound hard but, as said, Megasaur has already created one millionaire and it will more than likely create another one soon. You’ve got to be in it to win it!

And, aside from the top prize, there are plenty of other great reasons to try this RTG slot. Firstly there is the aforementioned scatter and bonus feature. You can win up to 30 free spins, with a minimum of six, virtually guaranteeing a big win, whilst there are not one but two wilds, with both being grouped.

The Green Megasaur appears on the 2nd reel and the Red Megasaur on the 4th. The latter wild delivers double payouts on all wins and this is another route to dino-riches on this brilliant slot.

Win Pinata Millions at Jackpot Pinatas Online Slot

March 31, 2016 Category :Games Off

Jackpot Piñatas is a brilliant progressive slot that could well change your life in one spin of Piñata magic. This colorful and vibrant slot from US real money casino experts RTG (Realtime Gaming) boasts a massive seven figure jackpot at the time of writing worth almost $1.8m! If you like the sound of winning almost $2m from the comfort of your own home with just one spin of a great slot, read on for the lowdown on Jackpot Piñatas.

If you’ve played many of RTG’s exciting slots you’ll recognize the format and gameplay of this five reel, 20 line progressive. It looks, feels and sounds just like many of the other great slots produced by RTG and that means you’ll instantly feel at home, whilst even if you’re new to such slots, the simple and intuitive gameplay makes things very quick and easy to grasp.

In order to get your hands on the $1.8m progressive jackpot you’ll need to get five of the bull piñata symbols on a valid payline. We said “valid payline” but in actual fact all lines will be in play on all spins because – and this is the only real downside of Jackpot Piñatas – the slot has a fixed $5 spin value which is 25 cents per line for all 20 lines.

Whilst no other win will really come close to the main jackpot, there are still huge wins available for the other piñatas, with five donkey piñatas paying out 20,000 credits and five dog piñatas a still-generous 1,000.

The donkey is actually the wild in general play, swapping for all other symbols aside from the other two piñatas. Similarly, as well as landing you a huge win, the dog piñata is the scatter/bonus symbol, with three of these landing you a win of three credits but, far more importantly, also entering you into the excellent bonus feature.

In our opinion the bonus on Jackpot Piñatas is one of the best around, mainly because it comes in two stages. First you get to two of the three displayed piñata symbols, revealing cash prizes worth up to 200 times your initial bet. Then should one of your picks contain a rose you’ll win an extra bonus round. If you don’t find a rose you’ll go to the free spins round, and with up to 25 free spins available, plus double prizes and extra piñatas, you could end up with a monster of a win.

As said, Jackpot Piñatas is a great slot so with the amazing progressive jackpot and bonus feature detailed above, why not see for yourself?

Blackjack: History of the Game

September 16, 2015 Category :Games Off

Most people who play blackjack these days probably simply reach for their cell and play mobile blackjack, or fire up the laptop or desktop and play online. With progressive blackjack, live dealer games and lots of different variants, there has never been more choice when it comes to playing this beloved casino game. However, it wasn’t always so. The origins of blackjack, as with many casino games and gambling terms, aren’t 100% clear but let’s take a look at how it all (probably) began as we delve into the history of blackjack.

Whilst much is unverifiable and open to debate, the earliest undeniable fact is that the legendary Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes, who wrote the masterpiece Don Quixote, mentioned a game remarkably similar to blackjack way back at the start of the 17th century. Cervantes, himself a gambler, wrote of a game “ventiuna” (Spanish for 21) in which the player tries to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. Moreover, aces counted as both one and 11.

Some historians argue that blackjack dates back even further, some claiming that Roman soldiers played a similar game using wooden blocks but we prefer to deal in facts and it cannot be denied that ventiuna, unquestionably a blackjack relative, was around in the early 17th and probably late 16th centuries.

Little is known about the game’s subsequent evolution, other than that it was popular throughout Europe but especially in France and Italy, as well as Spain. Immigrants brought blackjack over the Atlantic in the 1800s, or perhaps a little earlier after the French Revolution in 1789.

In the US, casino owners created a bonus payout of 10/1 for a 21, or “natural”, made with a jack and the ace of spades. This huge payout was very popular but was unsustainable and so gradually shifted to a reduced payout but for any two-card natural, although the name blackjack proved rather more durable.

The game changed little until modern blackjack was truly born with the passing of the Nevada Gambling Act in 1931. Rules became fixed and codified and the version on blackjack played all those years ago is essentially the same great game we all know and love today.

Blackjack has been around hundreds of years and we predict it will be around hundreds more so why not grab a great casino bonus now and see if your blackjack luck is in by playing real money online blackjack today? Get started at the best USA online casinos and place your blackjack bets!

Roulette: History of the Game

July 24, 2015 Category :Games Off

Roulette is one of the most popular games for US players of online casinos but whilst you can now play roulette on your cell phone, desktop or tablet, the origins of the game were far more basic. Like much in the world of gambling, especially when we’re looking at history, much of the beginnings of roulette are somewhat uncertain but there are some facts that are fairly well established.

First off, let’s start with the name itself. Roulette derives from Latin ultimately and the same word that brings us rota and rotary, although a more recent link is the archaic French word “roelete”, meaning little wheel.

The game was popular by the 18th century and is thought to have been invented in France. Inventor Blaise Pascal may have actually inadvertently created the world’s first roulette wheel somewhat earlier, in the 1600s, as he sort to create a perpetual motion machine.

The game developed out of a number of other games, including the English wheel game, Roly-Poly and the Italian board game Hoca. The exact development of the game in this period may never be known but what we can say with certainty is that by the very late 1700s roulette as we know it now was being played in French casinos and gambling dens.

A 1801 French novel by Jaques Lablee, set at the turn of the previous century, describes the game thus: “There are exactly two slots reserved for the bank, whence it derives its sole mathematical advantage … two betting spaces containing the bank’s two numbers, zero and double zero”

In 1843 a German casino created the single zero version of the game in order to offer a better payout to players and thus attract more business. Gambling was outlawed in Germany in the 1860s and the French creatrors of the single zero game moved to Monte Carlo, where casinos remained legal and here the single zero variant flourished.

The great game of roulette came to America with immigrants and travelled up the Mississippi, spreading west. In America the original French version of the game, with zero and double zero remained popular but essentially little has changed in the time since.

Of course, we now have online roulette, live dealer roulette games and even mobile roulette, as well as various roulette variants, including progressive games and bonus side bets. However, in essence, the game we know and love today is the same roulette played hundreds of years ago in France – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it we say!

Blackjack Tips

June 26, 2015 Category :Games Off

Most people play online blackjack and other casino games for fun but with any form of gambling, the fun derived from it is very closely linked to winning and making a few bucks certainly increases the levels of enjoyment. Read on for a few of our most simple, effective tips to help you win when playing online blackjack.

Blackjack Rules

Blackjack rules vary from one online casino to the next, and even at the same casino you may find different rule variants. The rules, for example whether you can double on any number or just 9, 10, 11 – or even just on 10 or 11 – have an impact on the house edge and it is this house edge that is most crucial to your chances of winning in the medium and long term.

As such, try to find a version of online blackjack with the most favorable rules you can, which means flexible doubling and splitting, full pay on blackjack, as few decks as possible and no crazy side bets, and you instantly reduce your reliance on luck to overcome the house edge and increase the odds that you’ll walk away richer.

Use Basic Strategy

The house edge stats only truly apply if you are employing basic strategy, the mathematically proven way to gain the best results from any situation. You don’t need to learn this as you can find full guides online or a number of great blackjack books and by using basic strategy you give yourself the very best chance to win, no matter what cards are dealt.

Use a Blackjack Casino Bonus

Most of the sites we feature here offer bonuses especially for fans of blackjack. These are rarely as generous as those for slots players but by using these blackjack bonuses you improve your chances of winning and if you place a few big bets at the start you could build up a nice stash to compete the bonus wagering.

Stop When You’re Winning

This is quite simply one of the oldest, most logical and simplest pieces of advice we can offer, and it is applicable to any casino game, including online blackjack. If you keep playing and playing and playing you WILL lose eventually and the only way to ever make a profit is to quit whilst you’re ahead.

Why Live Dealer Casinos Are So Darn Good

January 30, 2015 Category :Games| General Off

Let’s not beat around the bush, we think live dealer casinos are the best innovation developed by online casinos since online casinos began to pop up in the mid to late 1990s. Why? Because all of a sudden you can play games that look and feel a whole lot more like real life than some video game, upping the ante when it comes to excitement levels.

Until the advent of live dealer casinos, when you played your favorite casino game online – be it roulette, blackjack, craps or whatever – it all seemed just a tad, well, fake. We all know the random number generators that select the cards you are dealt or the number in which the roulette ball comes to rest are mathematically proven to replicate the pattern-free real world. But when the dealer in blackjack hits 21 over your 20 three times in a row, there is always that nagging doubt in the back of your mind that the computer is cheating you! It isn’t of course, but humans being humans, it is easy to blame the machine.

Live dealer casinos might well be exactly the same as RNG games in terms of their randomness, but the ability to watch a dealer dish out the cards or spin the roulette wheel just adds that level of authenticity that banishes all feelings of unfairness.

Aside from that, you get to enjoy the vibe of a real casino without having to actually travel to Vegas or wherever. You get the convenience of the established online casino model but with the bonus of being able to view and often interact with the (usually very attractive!) dealers.

Many of the best USA-friendly online casinos have now added live dealer games, with some of our favorites listed here, with brief details of the welcome bonuses they offer to new players.

Grand Parker – A great all-round casino who offer a massive 300% slots bonus of up to $3,000 or a 150% table games bonus of up to $1,500.

BetOnline Casino – Whether table games or slots are your thing you can take advantage of a nice 100% bonus up to a staggering $5,000 at BetOnline.

Grand Macao Casino – Another tasty 300% deposit bonus to be found here, up to a cool $3,000.

Online Slots verses Table Games

April 11, 2014 Category :Games Off

Playing at an online casino is great fun for millions of people around the world and allows the excitement of Vegas and the thrill of winning money without the player having to leave the comfort of their own home. However, if you are a newcomer to playing at an online casino the choice of games can be daunting so here we look at three of the most popular games and explain a little bit more about them.

Playing Slots Online

Playing slots is the easiest option as there are very few decisions to make and virtually no control over what happens. All you need to do is select your stake and away you go. While some of the more advanced slots may have bonus rounds that require you to select certain options, the outcome is pure chance so it doesn’t really matter what you opt for.

Another big plus for slots is that if you are attempting to clear a bonus they almost always count 100% towards the rollover requirements, meaning you can clear that casino bonus as quickly as possible. In addition, the progressive jackpots available on certain slots offer huge, life changing prizes for a stake far smaller than you would need on other games for a similar payout.

The only real downside with playing slots online is the house edge – the casino’s advantage – is often far higher than with other games, though with a little luck you can still win and win big.

Online Blackjack

Blackjack is one of the best games to play in the casino because it has the smallest house edge – as little as 0.5% or less depending on rule variations – and it also allows the player to affect the game with the decisions they make.

Playing is more complex than either of the other games but still easy enough to be quickly grasped, especially if you refer to a basic strategy guide, which tells you what to do in any given situation.

Playing Online Roulette

Roulette has a house edge midway between the two previous games but like blackjack is often excluded from bonus wagering or at best counts at a low rate. Little or no knowledge of the game is needed, other than awareness of the odds which each type of bet pays, which is usually shown. The main danger with roulette is that a player can fall into the gambler’s fallacy of believing that previous spins affect future ones. They don’t, and even after 10 reds in a row the odds of a red and a black next spin remains the same.

You can use any of the USA online casinos we recommend here to play to slots, blackjack, roulette and many other games as well. See any of the casino reviews for the particular casino to see all about the bonus and other options the casino may offer. Then sign up – claim a huge bonus and start winning playing the game of your choice.
